Fish Taco TOUR

Anthony’s – 5/5 grilled cod and lots of it with a creamy avocado sauce, comes wrapped in delicious, fresh corn tortillas, and the best coleslaw w/pineapple dressing and citrus rice pilaf, and I can’t forget the fresh bread w/garlic & sun-dried tomato butter

Fish House – 4/5 pick your fresh fish of the day and have it prepared the way you want, my choice is grilled halibut, one of the few fish tacos that comes with cheese, their fresh bread is also delicious, so filling you usually take half of it home

Harbor Fish – 3.5/5 great fish and yummy cabbage “salad” come in the humongous tortilla, seasoned French fries are a plus

Rubio’s – 3.5/5 great price for a great taco especially if you add guacamole and extra onions and cilantro

Chef Katie – 3.5/5 simple so that’s the only reason they don’t get a 4, made with tilapia lightly pan seared, cabbage, home-made guacamole, cheese, lime, and tomato

The Beach House – 3/5 very good but small and therefore not worth the price, especially when there are other places to get them

Cheesecake Factory – 2.5/5 fun for a unique twist on fish tacos but nothing compares to the original

Wahoo’s – 1/5 for people who hate fish, tastes like chicken, the 1 is for the other ingredients of the taco

The Greek Palace

My Uncle Mark, Mama, and I stopped for a snack when we were down in San Diego.
